ABOUT THE CERTMAN

Since 1989, I’ve built a reputation for solving avionics challenges that stump others. What started as a humble one-man operation at Oakland County International Airport has grown into Top Flight Avionics at Willow Run Airport—one of Michigan’s most respected avionics shops.

But here’s what I’ve learned over 35+ years: pilots don’t need sales pitches. They need straight talk, honest assessments, and certifications they can trust. That’s why I created The CERTMAN—a mobile certification division focused exclusively on what matters most: keeping your aircraft legal, safe, and airworthy.

Safety is non-negotiable. Honesty is how I’ve stayed in business for over three decades. Your aircraft deserves both.

OUR CERTIFICATION SERVICES

IFR Certifications

Precision instrument certifications for pilots who demand reliability. Your IFR rating means nothing if your certification doesn’t meet standards. We ensure every transponder and pitot-static system is calibrated to exact FAA specifications.

VFR Certifications

Keep your aircraft safe and legal without breaking the bank. We provide straightforward VFR certifications with honest assessments—recommending only what you actually need, preserving equipment that’s still serviceable.
